Creative Director

The Creative Director will be the creative lead within the clients marketing department and will lead and direct the team and processes in the creation, planning and delivery of the creative process. This will include responsibility and accountability for conceiving and managing the delivery of campaign concepts, ideas and guidelines to completion; team management of the internal creative team of designers, copywriters and any other external creative resources required to deliver such content across the creative lifecycle (including overseeing the pipeline of brainstorming, assignment, production, editing, and publication); with the aim of growing the clients reputation as the sports betting and online gaming brand of choice; working with the marketing team to refine and grow the brand image and voice.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Brand Development: Collaborate with the Chief Marketing Officer and Brand Manager to create and align the SunBet brand and corporate identity (CI) guidelines with overall brand strategy and market segmentation.
  • Creative Leadership: Direct and lead the creative team in delivering innovative artwork and solutions for marketing objectives, managing the creative process from concept to production.
  • Innovation and Analysis: Conduct investigations into graphic and animation innovations to enhance business delivery and streamline processes.
  • Brainstorming and Concept Creation: Facilitate brainstorming sessions to generate innovative concepts for various online channels, ensuring alignment with business needs.
  • Design Oversight: Oversee the development of visual styles and tones across multiple projects, ensuring exceptional quality and coherence.
  • Collaboration: Work with UX designers and developers to ensure solid design execution and effective user experiences.
  • Content Strategy: Develop plans for generating meaningful content that drives traffic, engagement, and brand visibility.
  • Performance Measurement: Analyze campaign success through metrics and provide reports with actionable insights.
  • Team Leadership: Inspire and manage the creative team, ensuring adherence to quality standards and a performance-driven culture.
  • Budget Management: Develop and manage the creative services budget, including forecasting and evaluating ROI.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Present creative ideas and concepts compellingly to clients and stakeholders.
  • Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on design methodologies and market trends, ensuring the creative team is equipped with the latest tools and knowledge.

Qualifications:

  • 3-Year Degree in Marketing / Communications / Graphic Design
  • 10 years’ experience following a path through the ranks of the industry from designer / copywriter through to management levels, including  experience as a creative director or in a similar creative role 
  • Experience should include 5 years working within an editorial role and 2 years in a supervisory / management capacity
  • Hand-on experience in creative process, marketing, graphic design and brand development 
  • A proven track record of managing successful creative design and multi-discipline teams
