About this position

Main Responsibilities:

Relationships:

  • Build and nurture strong relationships with mid-senior level clients, positioning yourself as a trusted partner rather than just a supplier.
  • Act as the client's primary point of contact for requests and issues, applying a solution-focused attitude to overcome challenges.
  • Maintain exceptional client service, including quality control of all live projects and prompt acknowledgment of client requirements, with clear communication of next steps.
  • Demonstrate the ability to lead and engage effectively in client and internal presentations.
  • Serve as the right-hand person to the Business Unit Director (BUD) and effectively upwardly manage when necessary.
  • Display a high level of emotional intelligence when building relationships and handling potentially difficult situations, providing advice, opinions, and support to the team.

Financial Management:

  • Exhibit a strong financial acumen by accurately scoping work and negotiating costs with clients and internal teams.
  • Ensure all projects within the client portfolio are financially well-managed, with accurate and up-to-date forecasting.
  • Review and approve costings and forecasts completed by direct reports to ensure accuracy.
  • Develop the capability of direct reports to accurately scope work and manage project finances effectively.

Planning:

    Accurately forecast resource requirements for the client portfolio and ensure work is delivered according to an active project plan.

Campaign Management:

  • Demonstrate the ability to write clear, concise, and inspiring creative briefs.
  • Effectively oversee all aspects of projects from start to completion, including post-campaign reports.
  • Take accountability for the successful delivery of projects managed by direct reports and provide support when needed.

Leadership:

  • Lead by example, prioritizing the growth and development of your team members.
  • Make informed decisions on behalf of the agency and team, understanding the potential impact and managing upward when necessary

Qualifications:

  • 6+ years of experience in client services, account management, or a related role.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain client relationships.
  • Financial acumen and experience with project budgeting and forecasting.
  • Leadership skills with a focus on team growth and development.
  • Emotional intelligence and the ability to handle challenging situations with professionalism.
