Freelance Mid Designer/Animator

Main Responsibilities:

• Conceptualise and develop creative ideas for digital/social media campaigns that align with client objectives and target audience.
• Collaborate closely with clients and account managers to understand project requirements, objectives, and brand guidelines.
• Translate client briefs into visually appealing and impactful designs, animations, and graphics that effectively communicate key messages and evoke desired emotions.
• Ensure the timely delivery of high-quality design assets that meet or exceed client expectations.
• Collaborate with copywriters, videographers, and other team members to integrate visual elements seamlessly into campaign concepts.
• Stay up to date with industry trends, design techniques, and emerging technologies to continually improve your skills and contribute to innovative campaign concepts.
• Act as a mentor to junior designers, providing guidance, support, and constructive feedback to help develop their skills.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Multimedia Design, Animation, or a related field.
• Proven experience (+4 years) as a Designer/Animator, with a strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in conceptualizing and creating digital/social media campaigns.
• Proficiency in industry-standard design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, etc.).
• Solid understanding of social media platforms, their features, and best practices for visual storytelling.
• Excellent creative thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate concepts into compelling visual designs and animations.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to present and explain design concepts to clients and team members.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment, managing multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
• A keen eye for typography, colour, composition, and motion design principles.
