We are looking for a Graphic Designer/DTP! Working Type: Remote Hours: 40 hours Budget: R19 760 (Freelance Take Home)


About this position

Main Responsibilities:

  • Design and Layout: Create visually engaging designs for brochures, flyers, posters, banners, advertisements, websites, and other marketing materials. Arrange text, images, and graphics in an aesthetically pleasing and effective manner.
  • Image Editing: Edit and retouch images to enhance their quality and suitability for use in various projects. This may include color correction, resizing, cropping, and other image adjustments.
  • Typography: Select appropriate fonts and typography styles for different projects, ensuring readability and alignment with the brand's identity.
  • Software Proficiency: Be proficient in graphic design software tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (e.g., Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and other DTP software.
  • File Conversion: Convert and prepare files for print or digital publication, ensuring they meet the necessary technical specifications, resolution, and color profiles.
  • Print Production: Collaborate with printers and ensure that designs are optimized for high-quality printing, including understanding printing techniques, color modes, and materials.
  • Project Management: Manage multiple design projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines are met and communicating effectively with clients or team members.
  • Creative Input: Offer creative input and suggestions to improve the overall quality of design projects.
  • Quality Control: Perform quality checks to ensure that designs are error-free, and all elements are correctly aligned and consistent.


  • Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in graphic design and desktop publishing.
  • Proficiency in industry-standard design software.
  • Strong understanding of design principles, typography, color theory, and layout.
  • Knowledge of print and digital media production processes.
  • Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Creativity and the ability to think outside the box.
  • Ability to adapt to changing design trends and software updates
