Location: Remote, ZA
Contract Length: 12 months (Rolling) - simulating a perm contract
Working Hours: Flexible. Mostly 9-5 South African time
Leave: 33 days. 12 days of that is public holidays
Responsibilities:
- Client Relationship Management: Develop and nurture strong relationships with key clients, serving as their primary point of contact. Act as a trusted advisor, understanding client needs and aligning them with agency capabilities.
- Account Management: Oversee multiple client accounts, ensuring their needs and expectations are met or exceeded. Facilitate effective communication between clients and internal teams.
- Strategic Planning: Collaborate with clients to understand their long-term goals and develop strategic plans to meet them. Identify opportunities for upselling or cross-selling services to existing clients.
- Project Oversight: Supervise the execution of projects, campaigns, or services to ensure they align with client goals and expectations. Ensure the delivery of high-quality services or products to clients.
- Team Leadership: Lead and mentor account teams, providing guidance and support in client interactions and project execution. Foster a collaborative and high-performance team environment.
- Business Growth: Participate in business development activities to acquire new clients. Work closely with the Owner to maximise new business opportunities within existing client accounts.
- Budget Management: Manage client budgets and financial aspects of projects, ensuring profitability and adherence to financial targets.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure that services provided meet or exceed agreed-upon standards, maintaining a high level of client satisfaction.
- Collaboration with Management Team: Work with the agency owner and Head of Operations to ensure the team is utilising processes and are held accountable in line with the client and business expectations.
Qualifications:
- Education: A bachelor's degree in business, marketing, communications, or a related field is typically required. An MBA or relevant advanced degree can be advantageous.
- Experience: Demonstrable management experience in a marketing agency.Extensive experience in client services, account management, or a related role is essential. Experience in an advertising agency with a strong focus on LinkedIn would be beneficial. Proven track record in managing and growing client accounts in a creative industry setting.
- Strong Understanding of LinkedIn: Have a deep understanding of Linkedin and the platform's advertising ecosystem.
- Leadership Skills: Strong leadership, team management, communication, organisational and interpersonal skills for effectively team leadership, account team management and maintaining client relationships.
- Strategic Thinking: The ability to think strategically and develop long-term plans to meet client objectives is important with A knack for problem-solving and a talent for inspiring teams.
- Software Proficiency: Familiarity with CRM software such as Salesforce, HubSpot, or Zoho CRM, and project management tools such as Notion, Miro, Google Looker studio or similar. (Beneficial)
