Main Responsibilities:
A: Manage, develop and implement effective marketing strategies across channels
- Lead the development and execution of paid media strategies, supported by SEO, to achieve client objectives and deliver measurable results.
- Create data-driven paid media campaigns across platforms such as Google Ads, Meta, and LinkedIn, ensuring alignment with objectives and budgetary goals.
- Conduct comprehensive keyword research, competitive analysis, and audience insights to inform precise targeting, bidding strategies, and campaign optimisation across paid and organic channels.
- Perform in-depth keyword analysis, assess competitive landscapes, and conduct research to refine targeting, bidding strategies, and campaign optimisation for both paid and organic efforts.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including content, design, sales, operations and development, to ensure cohesive and high-performing campaigns that engage target audiences.
- 6. Take ownership of paid media budgets, driving accountability for ROI through meticulous monitoring, testing and optimisation of campaigns. Continuously evaluate and implement innovative strategies, tools, and ad formats to stay ahead of industry trends and enhance campaign performance.
B: Conduct analyses and report on performance
- Define, monitor, and measure key performance indicators across paid media and SEO channels to track progress against strategic objectives.
- Leverage tools such as Google Analytics and Looker Studio to deliver actionable insights through clear and impactful reporting.
- Conduct in-depth analyses of campaign performance, identifying key trends and areas for improvement, and develop data-driven strategies to address them.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance reporting standards, ensuring better insights, visualisation, and data integration.
C: Leading a team of performance marketing specialists
- Set clear expectations and measurable goals, with a focus on driving paid media performance while supporting SEO team objectives.
- Coach and mentor specialists in paid media strategy and execution, fostering skill development in campaign optimisation, budget management, and platform specific expertise.
- Promote innovation in paid media by encouraging experimentation with new channels, ad formats, and bidding strategies to enhance performance.
- Provide constructive, data-driven feedback to improve the team’s efficiency and maximise the impact of paid media campaigns, ensuring alignment with broader business goals.
D: Managing client and supplier/partner/stakeholder relationships
- Manage relationships with clients, including communication and reporting on campaign performance.
- Work in collaboration with freelancers, suppliers and marketing partners - including but not limited to Google and Meta.
E: Stay up to date with industry trends
- Researching, developing and implementing marketing technology.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and change
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or a related field
- 7 + years of SEM experience
- Computer literacy:
- Google Ads, Meta Ads
- Manager, LinkedIn Ads
- Microsoft and Google suite
- Asana or similar
- Technical knowledge of paid media tools
- Developing and implementing SEM strategies
- People and client management skills
- Experience in using Google Analytics, Google Looker Studio, Google Tag Manager, Excel and Google Sheets, Facebook Business Manager, Google Ads Manager to build reports
