Mid-Weight SEO Specialist

Budget: R30,000 - R35,000

Location: CPT, ZA

Working Type: Full time in office for probation period, then Hybrid thereafter. Mon, Wed, Fridays in office. Tues and Thursday option to work from home.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct in-depth SEO audits to identify optimisation opportunities.
• Perform comprehensive keyword research and analysis to inform SEO strategies.
• Optimise website content, including meta tags, headings, and internal linking.
• Develop and implement technical SEO recommendations, such as site speed optimisation and mobile-friendliness. 
• Build and manage high-quality backlink profiles. 
• Monitor and analyse SEO performance metrics to identify trends and opportunities.
• Stay up-to-date with SEO industry trends and algorithm updates. 
• Collaborate with content, marketing, and development teams to ensure SEO best practices are followed. 
• Develop and execute A/B testing to optimize SEO performance. 
• Provide actionable insights and recommendations to improve organic search visibility.

Requirements:

• 3-5 years of experience in SEO 
• Proven track record of achieving SEO goals and increasing organic traffic
• Strong understanding of search engine algorithms and ranking factors
• Proficiency in SEO tools and analytics platforms (Google Analytics, Search Console, Screaming Frog, Google Tag Manager) 
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills 
• Strong attention to detail and organisational abilities 
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team 
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
