We are looking for a Paid Media Manager (Social) to join the clients growing operation as part of the Cape Town/Joburg office with at least 2+ years experience in managing social campaigns for a range portfolios of clients, ranging from large to medium sized campaigns.

Main Responsibilities:

Requirements:

  • Must have a passion for digital marketing and wanting to build a career within the digital space
  • Proven track record running performance-lead digital campaigns
  • Ability to set up standard & custom pixel events and conversion tracking across Meta, Twitter, LinkedIn and TikTok
  • Ability to set-up conversion tracking across Paid Social and Google analytics
  • Minimum proven 2 years experience in running campaigns across social platforms (Meta, Twitter, *Advantageous: Tiktok, LinkedIn)
  • Experience in managing digital campaigns with performance driven goals
  • Experience with managing digital campaigns for video & mobile
  • Must know how to work with budgets and how to allocate them effectively
  • Ability to troubleshoot tech issues within social platforms and present solutions
  • Must have the ability to understand and interpret strategy and execute this within applicable platforms
  • Ability to analyze campaigns & implement strategy based on findings
  • Ability to conduct post-campaign analysis and to present that to Digital Leads and client

Your tasks:

  • Employ Strategic Campaign set up with sufficient research and following direction given by the Digital Lead
  • Analyse campaign performance and make recommendations for optimization
  • Regular review of performance of campaigns across performance and pacing
  • Ensure campaign delivery against spend goals and Key Performance Indicators as established with the client and digital leads.
  • Daily monitoring of campaigns to ensure performance goals and objectives are met
  • Cross platform monthly reporting based on campaign KPIs
  • Cross platform post campaign assessment reports to gauge overall campaign performance
  • Ensure all correct media costs are reported on a monthly basis
  • Ensure all administration is accurate and up to date
  • Being able to motivate oneself & to continue self development
  • Close daily collaboration with digital lead to understand client’s goals and needs, communicating campaign metrics and performance as needed
  • Campaign performance analysis and presentation to digital lead and / or client service lead for all campaigns
  • First level of troubleshooting and triage on technical and performance related issues

Qualifications:

Qualifications and experience:

  • A tertiary degree is required preferably within Marketing
  • 2+ years’ experience in digital media campaign management
  • A track record of outstanding professional performance is essential

Essential certifications in the following:

  • Meta Certified Digital Marketing Associate
  • Meta Certified Media Planning Professional
  • Meta Certified Media Buying Professional
  • Twitter FlightSchool - Fundamentals > Launch and Connect Badge
  • Twitter FlightSchool - Intermediate > Performance Fundamentals Badge

Advantageous experience in the following:

  • Experience working in a Media Agency within HootSuite and Meltwater
  • Experience with Facebook Pixel implementation and Twitter Conversion implementation.
  • Experience with Google Analytics and how to implement & interpret data
  • Ability to build reporting templates which is suited for client
  • Experience with Monday.com project management platform
  • Experience in TikTok for Business
  • Experience in Google Ads Video Certification
  • Experience in Google Ads Display Certification
  • Google Ads - Measurement Certification

Experience on the following platforms:

  • Google Analytics (Required)
  • App Advertising - Acquisition & Retention (Beneficial)
  • Google Marketing Platform (Beneficial)
  • TikTok for Business (Beneficial)
  • Meta Business Manager (Required)
  • Facebook/Instagram Ads (Required)
  • Extensive Google Ads Experience (preferred)
  • Google Search & Remarketing
  • Youtube
  • Tableau/Data Studio or similar data analysis tools (preffered)
