Responsibilities include:

1. Google Ads Campaign Leadership:

  • Strategic Campaign Development: Lead the strategy, execution, and optimisation of Google Ads campaigns for a diverse client base, ensuring alignment with their business goals and industry best practices.
  • Complex Campaign Management: Utilise Google Ads Editor to efficiently manage and optimise large-scale, complex campaigns across multiple clients and sectors
  • Precision Conversion Tracking: Implement and enhance conversion tracking strategies using Google Tag Manager and other advanced tracking technologies to ensure accurate performance measurement (enhanced conversions/server-side tracking etc.)

2. Technical Implementation & Advanced Integration:

  • Tag Manager Expertise: Configure and maintain Google Tag Manager to guarantee precise data collection and seamless integration with Google Ads and other digital platforms.
  • Enhanced Tracking Solutions: Implement advanced tracking methods such as server-side tracking, enhanced conversions, and Cookie Mode V2 to adapt to evolving privacy regulations and enhance data accuracy.
  • CRM Integration: Integrate Google Ads with client CRM systems to facilitate comprehensive tracking of customer journeys and robust data-driven attribution.

3. Analytics & Reporting Excellence:

  • Customised Analytics: Develop and maintain tailored Google Analytics setups for each client to monitor and report on the specific performance metrics critical to their campaigns.
  • Insightful Data Analysis: Analyse campaign data to uncover trends and generate actionable insights, providing recommendations for continuous improvement and client satisfaction.
  • Comprehensive Reporting: Create custom dashboards and detailed reports to effectively communicate campaign performance and insights to clients and internal stakeholders.

4. Client Engagement and Support:

  • Technical Consultation: Serve as a technical advisor to clients, offering expert guidance and recommendations on Google Ads best practices and related digital tools.
  • Issue Resolution: Proactively address and resolve any technical issues or challenges that arise during campaign execution and tracking.
  • Training and Education: Educate clients and internal teams on the capabilities and best practices of Google Ads and associated technologies, fostering a culture of learning and innovation.

5. Tool and Application Management:

  • Advanced Tool Proficiency: Oversee the use of essential tools and platforms, including Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics, Call Tracking Metrics, and Google Ads Editor, ensuring they are used effectively and efficiently.
  • Project Coordination: Utilise project management tools (We use Podio) to coordinate and manage the execution of digital marketing projects, ensuring timely and successful delivery.

6. Industry Leadership and Development:

  • Stay Updated: Keep abreast of the latest Google Ads features, industry trends, and best practices to maintain our agency's leading position in the PPC space.
  • Innovative Solutions: Continuously seek opportunities to implement new technologies and methodologies that enhance campaign performance and client success.
  • Mentorship: Provide leadership and mentorship to junior team members, fostering their development and encouraging a collaborative and innovative work environment.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years in a role managing Google Ads campaigns and related technologies within an agency setting.
  • Google Ads Mastery: Extensive experience managing and optimising Google Ads campaigns, with a strong track record of driving performance improvements.
  • Technical Proficiency: Deep knowledge of Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics, server-side tracking, enhanced conversions, and other advanced tracking methods.
  • Analytical Expertise: Strong ability to analyse data, generate insights, and communicate them effectively through custom dashboards and reports.
  • Tool Competence: Proficiency in using tools such as Google Ads Editor, Call Tracking Metrics, CRM systems, and project management platforms.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Excellent problem-solving abilities with a proactive approach to identifying and addressing challenges.
  • Leadership and Communication: Proven leadership skills and excellent verbal and written communication abilities, capable of conveying complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
