SEOSEO Specialist (Mid)
We are seeking an SEO Specialist to work on a portfolio of various clients and brands. The successful candidate must have a good background in the digital and data & media space and up to date knowledge in the SEO/Optimisation/UX field of digital marketing. EE candidates only.

Main Responsibilities:
- Develop SEO strategies and optimise sites to drive growth for a range of well-known clients
- Perform keyword research in coordination with client business objectives to optimise existing content and uncover new opportunities for paid media
- Run with content auditing and provide content and keyword strategies
- Provide recommendations and execute strategies for content development in coordination with SEO goals – general and keyword specific (content strategy for client, optimising and uploading content)
- Assist with development and execution of communication/content strategies via social communities in coordination with SEO goals
- Research and implement search engine optimisation audits
- Administer search engine programmes (XML sitemaps, webmaster tools) for purposes of diagnostic reporting on client projects
- Conduct Technical Site Audit (SEO) and recommendations to identify, plan, and implement technical SEO recommendations for websites including:
- Site architecture, page load speed and content optimization
- Site migrations, Conversion optimization and redesigns
- Off-site SEO
- Recommend changes to website architecture, content, linking and other factors to improve SEO positions for target keywords and organic traffic
- Implement link building campaigns in coordination with client SEO goals
- Monitor and evaluate search results and search performance across the major search channels for monthly reporting and recommendations
- Assist on client pitch/proposal creation
- Explain technical terminology and processes
- Competitor analysis and research
- Keep abreast of industry changes within industry best practice
Qualifications:
- Relevant tertiary qualification
- Proficient in MS Office (i.e. Word / Excel / PowerPoint / Keynote etc.)
- Minimum 3 years’ experience as an SEO Specialist
- Advertising Agency experience will be advantageous
- Experience with UX best practices, strategy, and research
- Sound technical SEO background and thorough understanding of its place in the digital marketing portfolio
- Understand the fundamentals of web analytics
- Google Analytics/AdWords Certified
- Knowledge of Google Search Console and Google Tag Manager
- Knowledge of SEO Tools: Ahrefs, SEMrush, Screaming Frog and Bright Local
- Good to have - HTML background
- Good to have - Proficiency in Data Studio
- Good command of the English language (both verbal and written)
- Strong organisational and planning skills
- Strong time management skills
- Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritise and make progress on multiple concurrent projects as well as share progress with your team
