Talent Advisor
We are looking for a Talent Advisor at Fundi based in Cape Town! You will play a pivotal role in our mission to connect exceptional candidates with our clients. You will be responsible for sourcing and scouting top talent, conducting interviews, and providing support throughout the hiring process. Additionally, you will serve as a mentor and support system for all our marketers (freelance and permanent) after they have been placed with our clients. We are seeking a self-sufficient, people-oriented, friendly, and hard-working individual to join our team.
About this position
Main Responsibilities:
1. Candidate Sourcing and Scouting:
- Identify potential candidates through various channels, including job boards, social media, referrals, and networking.
- Conduct initial candidate screenings and interviews to assess qualifications, experience, and cultural fit.
- Maintain a pipeline of qualified candidates for current and future job openings.
2. Candidate Support:
- Guide candidates through the entire hiring process, including interview preparation, offer negotiation, and onboarding.
- Provide constructive feedback and advice to candidates to help them improve their chances of securing job offers.
- Offer ongoing support and communication to ensure a positive candidate experience.
3. Talent Mentoring and Support:
- Act as a mentor and point of contact for all our marketers (freelance and permanent) before and after they are placed with our clients.
- Foster a supportive and collaborative relationship with placed marketers to help them thrive in their roles.
- Address any concerns or challenges faced by placed marketers and try to provide solutions and guidance.
4. Administrative Tasks:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate and client records in our database.
- Assist with administrative tasks related to the recruitment and placement process.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
- Proven experience in recruitment, talent acquisition, or a related role.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Exceptional interviewing and assessment abilities.
- Self-sufficiency and the ability to work independently.
- Friendly, people-oriented, and approachable demeanor.
- High level of professionalism and ethics.
