Hubspot Consultant (Contract)

Smit Marketing is seeking a Senior HubSpot Consultant to support the delivery of HubSpot implementation, automation, and reporting services for B2B clients across the UK, US, and Europe. This is a client-facing role where the successful candidate will manage HubSpot implementations, build marketing automation workflows, configure reporting dashboards, and translate client business requirements into scalable CRM and marketing automation solutions. The consultant will work directly with clients, lead onboarding and training sessions, and ensure projects are delivered to a high technical and strategic standard. The role requires strong hands-on HubSpot expertise, the ability to work independently, and confidence communicating with international clients.

About this position

Retainer: £1,280 - £1,600 per month (commission structure to roll out)

Working Hours: 9am - 5pm UK time (working for a UK company)

Contract Duration: Month-Month during onboarding (to extend by 3-months)

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

  • HubSpot Implementation & CRM Architecture
    • Configure and implement HubSpot portals from scratch
    • Design lifecycle stages and deal pipelines
    • Create custom properties and manage lead source tracking
    • Set up CRM architecture aligned with client sales processes
    Marketing Automation & Campaign Setup
    • Build and optimise HubSpot workflows
    • Set up email campaigns and lead nurture sequences
    • Configure forms, landing pages, and integrations
    • Implement automation to improve lead management and marketing performance
    Reporting, Client Management & Consulting
    • Build dashboards and custom reports for marketing and sales performance
    • Conduct client onboarding and HubSpot training sessions
    • Attend client meetings and gather business requirements
    • Translate marketing and sales goals into HubSpot solutions
    • Identify opportunities for upselling additional services within client accounts

Techncial Requirements & Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3 years’ hands-on experience with HubSpot
  • Proven experience implementing and configuring HubSpot portals
  • Experience working with B2B clients
  • Strong understanding of marketing automation and CRM systems
  • Ability to manage projects independently and deliver against deadlines
  • HubSpot certifications preferred but not essential
  • HubSpot CRM (core requirement)
  • Marketing automation workflow configuration
  • CRM architecture and lifecycle management
  • HubSpot reporting and dashboard creation
  • Email marketing and campaign setup
  • Marketing attribution and analytics
  • Experience integrating third-party systems and apps within HubSpot
  • Familiarity with CRM data structures and lead management processes
  • Preferred but not essential:
    • Basic SEO knowledge
    • HubSpot CMS experience
    • Experience integrating external marketing or sales tools
