The Traffic Administrator supports the smooth coordination and delivery of creative projects across our company, acting as the central point for receiving, logging, and allocating marketing briefs and project requests. This role ensures structured workflow, up-to-date scheduling, and proper resource coordination across the internal project management system, contributing to consistent and on-time delivery of high-quality creative outputs.

Budget: R20,000 - R25,000

Location: CBD, Cape Town

Working Type: Full time in-office

Main Responsibilities:

  • Log, assign, and track incoming marketing and creative project briefs
  • Ensure brief completeness, accuracy, and proper submission before routing to teams
  • Maintain project calendars, timelines, resource charts, and schedules
  • Coordinate internal and external project reviews, status updates, and approvals
  • Flag bottlenecks and delays, and escalate scheduling conflicts where needed
  • Monitor and track workflow progression in Asana (or equivalent tool)
  • Assist with procurement and coordination of external creative vendors and freelancers
  • Manage and track project-related documentation including timelines, cost estimates, and quotations
  • Ensure final materials are properly reviewed, formatted, and stored for delivery/publication
  • Support reporting on utilisation, project status, and performance metrics
  • Assist with SOPs, process templates, and workflow documentation updates

Qualifications & Technical Requirements:

  • Diploma in Marketing, Communications, or related field
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience supporting traffic/creative project management
  • MS Office Suite
  • Project Management Tools (e.g., Asana or similar)
  • Knowledge of workflow and document management systems
  • Reporting tools and digital asset management systems
