3D Rendering Artist (Freelance)

Location: Century City, Cape Town

Working Hours: Project Based

Main Responsibilities:

• Produce high-quality 3D stills and motion that feel elevated, editorial, and brand-aligned
• Apply a considered approach to lighting, texture, and composition — avoiding anything overly commercial or sterile
• Translate core product imagery and brand tone-of-voice into artful visual executions
• Adapt creative assets across multiple campaign formats (social, in-store, digital)
• Capture the emotional tone of the brand through visual direction, rather than just product feature representation
• Work closely with internal brand and creative teams to align on tone and execution

Qualifications & Technical Requirements:

• Demonstrated experience in 3D rendering for fashion, lifestyle, or editorial brands
• Strong proficiency in 3D software (e.g., Blender, Cinema 4D, Maya)
• Understanding of digital compositing and motion design tools (e.g., After Effects)
• Strong eye for texture, lighting, and atmosphere in visual storytelling
• Ability to deliver both stills and short-form video content for campaigns
• Experience adapting visuals across multiple formats and platforms
• Bonus: Experience working with fashion, footwear, or sport-focused brands
