The Account Manager is responsible for managing client relationships, overseeing LinkedIn advertising campaigns, and leading a dedicated delivery pod to ensure high-quality campaign execution. The role combines client success, project management, and strategic oversight to drive measurable outcomes for B2B clients while maintaining strong communication between clients and internal teams.

About this position

Retainer: £1,200 - £1,472  per month

Working Environment: Remote (working for a UK agency)

Contract Duration: 6-months

Main Responsibilities:

  • Client Relationship ManagementTeam Collaboration
    • Act as the primary point of contact for assigned clients.
    • Build and maintain long-term client relationships.
    • Lead client meetings and communicate campaign performance and strategy.
    • Respond to client communications within 24 hours.
    • Proactively manage client concerns and escalate when required.
    • Identify upsell opportunities and communicate them internally.
    • Maintain client portals and prepare structured meeting agendas.
    • Lead and guide a pod consisting of a Strategist and Campaign Manager.
    • Allocate tasks and manage team priorities effectively.
    • Facilitate cross-team collaboration when required.
    • Set expectations and maintain accountability for delivery.
    • Manage workloads and flag delivery risks or bottlenecks.
    Strategy, Campaign Oversight & Quality Assurance
    • Review campaign work to ensure high-quality outputs.
    • Maintain strong understanding of campaign strategy and execution.
    • Communicate campaign insights clearly to clients.
    Account / Project Management
    • Manage onboarding of new clients.
    • Handle billing coordination for pod accounts.
    • Manage scope changes and additional work approvals.
    • Translate client requirements into internal deliverables.
    • Oversee monthly reporting and ensure deadlines are met.

Requirements & Experience:

  • Experience managing multiple client accounts simultaneously.
  • Experience in LinkedIn Ads (NOT REQUIRED)
  • Ideal to have experience in performance marketing environments.
  • Strong client-facing account management experience.
  • Proven ability to work in a fast-paced agency environment.
  • Relevant marketing or business qualification advantageous (not mandatory).
