The Account Manager acts as the day-to-day lead across client engagements, ensuring that strategy turns into action, campaigns deliver measurable outcomes, and relationships remain strong and lasting. You’ll bridge client goals with internal delivery - managing people, process, and performance to ensure every account continues to grow in both impact and value.

About this position

Retainer: R36,000 - R48,000 per month

Working Environment: Remote

Contract Duration: 6-months

Main Responsibilities:

  • 1. Client Success & Retention
    • Own day-to-day client relationships and delivery alignment
    • Monitor account health and proactively address issues before escalation
    • Ensure clients see tangible ROI and value from Outsell’s work
    • Protect and grow client relationships through consistent delivery and communication
    2. Lead Generation & ICP Alignment
    • Accountable for external KPIs related to lead generation and engagement
    • Refine and maintain the Ideal Customer Profile (ICP) with clients and the Partner
    • Align outbound, event, and campaign activities to ICP and sales strategy
    3. Tactical Execution & Activity Management
    • Own the Flywheel and Sprint Plans to ensure timely and quality delivery
    • Oversee the Activity Planner, ensuring visibility at least three months ahead
    • Collaborate with Operations and Support for seamless project execution
    4. Intelligence & Escalation
    • Act on prospect intelligence and ensure timely follow-ups on leads
    • Escalate strategic or delivery challenges to the Partner with recommendations
    • Translate strategy into actionable delivery steps
    5. Client Communication & Meetings
    • Lead client meetings and set clear agendas
    • Prepare reporting summaries, insights, and next-step recommendations
    • Ensure meetings have clear outcomes, owners, and follow-ups

Requirements & Experience:

  • 3+ years of experience in client/account management, preferably in B2B sales, marketing, or agency environments
  • Proven experience driving measurable growth outcomes for clients
  • Strong understanding of sales processes, lead generation, and client relationship management
  • CRM tools (e.g., HubSpot, Pipedrive, Salesforce)
  • Google Workspace / MS Suite
  • Project management tools (e.g., Asana, ClickUp, or Notion)
