Designers (Contract)

Retainer: R48 000 per month‍

Location: Stellenbosch, CPT

Contract Length: ASAP  - 31 August 2025 (possibility to extend)

Contract Type: Full-time Contract

Working Type: Hybrid (2 - 3 days a week in office)

Entry Requirements: Macbook (able to run up to date software), stable internet connection & Adobe Licenses

Key Responsibilities:

• On-site Collaboration:
  Join team meetings in Stellenbosch once or twice weekly to support alignment and team cohesion.
• Collaborative Design:
  Partner with Copywriters to conceptualise and execute integrated campaigns across various platforms.
• Design Studio Responsibilities:
  Deliver consistently in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment while fostering strong collaboration with stakeholders and teammates. Align designs with internal goals and brand standards.
• Content Integration:
  Seamlessly merge copy and design using Figma for collaborative workflows and visual consistency.
• Digital and Traditional Design (90% Digital Focus):
  Create assets for emails, SMS, in-app, digital programmatic, and contribute to building a Salesforce content library using refreshed branding.
• Responsive Design:
  Ensure all designs work effectively across devices and channels, respecting platform constraints.
• Creativity:
  Contribute innovative, out-of-the-box ideas to elevate the impact and appeal of campaigns.

Requirements:

• Relevant Design degree or equivalent qualification
• Proven experience as a Mid/Senior Designer with a strong portfolio
• Experience with Data Driven Creative (DDC)
• HTML5 experience is a bonus

‍Technical skills/software proficiency:‍

• Figma (must-have; entire design ecosystem is based in Figma)
• Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
• Timekeeping: Toggl Track
• Microsoft Excel for project views
• Familiarity with project management tools like Wrike (in progress)
• Microsoft Teams & Email for communication
