Midweight Account Director

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

• Client Relationship & Management: Act as the day-to-day contact for clients, manage expectations, run meetings, share contact reports, and ensure consistent communication and delivery. Serve as brand custodian and manage campaign execution in line with client goals.
• Briefing: Receive, interpret, and write clear agency briefs. Ensure business and communication objectives are clearly understood. Submit briefs and debriefs into agency systems timeously.
• Operations & Processes: Oversee the delivery of work across ATL, BTL, digital, and social platforms. Develop tactical plans and manage campaign implementation in collaboration with internal teams.
• Financial Management: Scope, monitor, and manage project budgets. Handle financial risks, ensure accurate billing, and contribute to the growth of client accounts.
• Teamwork: Collaborate with internal and cross-functional teams. Mentor junior staff and coordinate team efforts to ensure successful execution of campaigns

Technical Requirements:

• Relevant qualification in marketing, advertising, communications, or related field. 
• 5–10 years total experience in advertising/marketing.
• 3–5 years in a client service/account management role at an agency.
• Experience across both ATL and digital campaign execution is critical.
• Must be able to juggle volume, i.e.: the ability to handle and juggle a high volume of work is required in this role
• Must be able to self-organise.
• Must have strong attention to detail.
• Must be able to effectively run projects from start to finish.
