MidWeight Designer (Contract)

Retainer: R24 000 - R28 000 (depending on skills and experience)

Contract Duration: 3-months

Start Date: ASAP

Working Type: In-office

Working Location: Melrose Arch, Johannesburg

Hours: 40 hours weekly (08:00 - 17:00)

Main Responsibilities:

• Create designs, concepts and layouts in line with layout principles and Betway brand standards.
• Prepare artwork for digital and print campaigns, including assembly and markup for printing.
• Collaborate on campaign development, brainstorming sessions and creative execution.
• Liaise with printers and external vendors for accurate production.
• Maintain and update communications platforms such as websites and social channels.
• Provide creative support for internal and external branding and events.
• Build and maintain strong working relationships across teams.
• Stay up to date on design trends, digital innovations and best practices.
• Participate in daily updates and communications planning.

Technical Requirements & Experience:

• 3-year Diploma or Degree in Graphic Design or Design Communication.
• Minimum of 5 years' experience in Design and Multimedia.
• Expert proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects, Dreamweaver).
• HTML and motion graphics experience preferred.
• Digital and coding familiarity.
• Experience in digital marketing and advertising.
