The Digital Marketing Manager is responsible for leading the strategic development, design, and implementation of digital marketing initiatives that drive brand recognition, customer acquisition, reactivation, and retention across our brands hospitality, gaming, and events business units. This role ensures maximum engagement across all digital touchpoints, develops customer-centric campaigns, and drives innovation to build competitive advantage and deliver revenue growth.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Plan, develop, and execute strategic digital marketing plans and frameworks across all business units.
  • Oversee development, maintenance, and optimisation of all digital channels (websites, apps, booking engines, social media, blogs, paid media).
  • Research and benchmark trends in digital marketing to keep Sun International’s online presence progressive and competitive.
  • Lead innovative campaign planning and implementation across display, SEO/SEM, social, email, and mobile channels.
  • Influence content strategy and collaborate with PR agencies to leverage digital content opportunities.
  • Benchmark and monitor performance across campaigns and channels; provide data-driven recommendations.
  • Manage resource planning, project timelines, and technology/dashboard requirements.
  • Build and nurture high-performing digital marketing talent through coaching and mentorship.
  • Develop and manage budgets, supplier relationships, and partnership agreements to optimise ROI.
  • Ensure digital governance standards, compliance, and risk management processes are implemented and updated.

Technical Requirements & Qualifications:

  • 3-Year Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Communication, or related field.
  • 10+ years in integrated digital marketing (minimum 5 years at management level).
  • Proven experience implementing digital marketing plans (SEO, analytics, paid media).
  • Strong understanding of digital trends, social media technologies, and customer acquisition strategies.
  • Experience managing campaigns end-to-end: briefing, creative direction, copywriting, approval, reporting.
  • Experience working in large-scale, fast-paced, ambiguous environments.
  • Hospitality or gaming industry experience advantageous.
