Digital Marketing Manager

The Digital Marketing Manager will be responsible to oversee the development, design and implementation of digital marketing plans to create maximum engagement across consumer touch points. They will also develop and integrate innovative marketing campaigns and content, and develop customer-centric online marketing experiences to expand Sunbet’s online digital audience, promote online brand recognition and maximise the revenue potential for the business.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Develop, maintain and use all digital channels (website, online booking engine, app, social, blogs, paid media) on behalf of Sunbet.
  • Plan and manage the implementation of highly innovative marketing campaigns, initiatives and experiences on various digital channels to elevate brand awareness, drive sales, competitive edge and business growth.
  • Oversee the planning of various digital displays, SEO/SEM, social, email, push, and mobile display advertising campaigns.
  • Benchmark and monitor performance across all digital channels and campaigns, making recommendations to improve future decision-making and spend and address areas of concern.
  • Collaborate with the media agency or in-house Digital Content Team to help them understand sports betting business objectives and advertising requirements.
  • Hold shared accountability for developing and managing the budget and expense management for the function.
  • Develop and coach the team in areas of digital marketing, and nurture a performance-driven culture within the department.

Technical Requirements & Qualifications:

  • A 3-Year Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Communication or a related field is preferred.
  • Grade 12 is acceptable if the candidate has relevant experience in the online gaming environment.
  • A GAIQ certification (Google Analytics Certification) is required.
  • A minimum of 8 years of experience, including 4 years in the digital marketing and online sports betting environment, is required.
  • Experience managing PPC and Adwords accounts is necessary.
  • Must have experience with CPA, Revenue Share, CPC and CPM models.
  • A track record in managing multiple projects on various levels with different and converging timelines is needed.
  • Proficiency in the use of Google Analytics
  • Proficiency in PPC, Google AdWords and campaign reporting
  • Advanced proficiency in MS-Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe)
  • Knowledge of Social Media Platforms (including how to use these to effectively support paid media)
  • Google & Revenue Reporting skills
  • Knowledge of SEO best practices
  • Understanding of digital marketing trends (triggered base communications, AI, predictive marketing, etc.)
  • Data analysis
