Our team is seeking a Senior Multimedia Designer based in Johannesburg, for our client, a leading online betting and gaming company, recognised for its innovative approach and expansive reach! This role will be responsible for crafting captivating multimedia content to engage and inspire audiences across various platforms. About this position
Working Type: In-office
Working Location: Melrose Arch, Johannesburg
Hours: 40 hours weekly (08:30 - 17:00)
Retainer: R32 000 - R44 000 per month (take home, depending on skills & experience)
Contract Duration: 3 months (potential of extension)
Main Responsibilities:
- Lead the design and production of high-quality multimedia content across various platforms, including web, mobile, and social media, ensuring brand consistency.
- Collaborate with the marketing and product teams to create compelling visual content that enhances user experience and engagement.Design dynamic graphics, animations, and video content that effectively communicate brand messages and promotions.
- Oversee the entire creative process for multimedia projects, from concept through to execution, including storyboarding, editing, and post-production.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in multimedia design and online gambling to ensure our content remains cutting-edge.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality standards.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior designers, fostering a collaborative and creative work environment.
Qualifications:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Multimedia Design, or a related field.
- A minimum of 5 years of professional experience in multimedia design, with a strong portfolio showcasing your skills and creativity.Experience in the online gambling industry is highly preferred.
- Expertise in a wide range of multimedia software, including Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, Premiere Pro), and familiarity withStrong understanding of design principles, typography, color theory, and user experience design.
- Ability to translate complex ideas into visually engaging designs.
- Excellent project management skills, with the ability to lead projects from concept to completion under tight deadlines.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.An understanding of gaming and gambling content, with an understanding of industry trends and customer preferences.
