This hands-on role calls for a resilient, relationship-driven leader who can quickly translate business plans into impactful marketing strategies.

Main Responsibilities:
1. Delivery of Marketing Business Objectives
- Support the Head of Marketing in executing portfolio strategies.
- Translate commercial business plans into actionable marketing strategies.
- Lead the development and implementation of integrated marketing plans, not just campaigns.
- Manage and optimise marketing initiatives within the Optimisation, Financial Education, and Fraud Awareness portfolios.
- Align marketing activities with Book of Work deliverables.
2. Client Experience & Client Value Proposition
- Ensure marketing strategies reflect client needs and expectations.
- Collaborate with client-facing teams to position products effectively.
- Embed client insights and behaviour data into marketing planning.
3. Integrated Marketing
- Design and oversee integrated plans across digital, traditional, and client engagement channels.
- Manage timelines, workflows, budgets, and performance reporting.
- Guide the team to deliver measurable results aligned to business objectives.
4. Operational Management & Stakeholder Engagement
- Build and maintain strong relationships across business units and stakeholders.
- Operate as a thinking partner to senior leaders and peers.
- Navigate reporting under interim leadership (potentially under a new Product Owner).
- Contribute to team development and act as a stabilising leader during transition.
- Provide Exco-level reporting on portfolio performance.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or Business Management (postgraduate advantageous).
- 10+ years’ marketing experience in large, client-focused organisations.
- 5+ years in mid-senior management with proven team leadership.
- Strong client-facing and stakeholder management experience.
- Hands-on experience in integrated marketing plan development and execution.
- Negotiation, communication, and relationship-building expertise.
- Proven resilience and ability to “hit the ground running.”
- Preferable exposure to financial services, retail banking, or fintech.
