This is a high-impact, full-ownership marketing role where you will define, build, and execute the entire marketing function.
As Senior Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for driving brand awareness, lead generation, and commercial growth through a combination of content, digital marketing, and strategic campaigns. You will transform technical building maintenance services into compelling, engaging stories that differentiate Spectrum in the market.
This role requires a commercially-minded marketer who can balance strategy with hands-on execution, and who thrives in an autonomous, fast-moving environment.

Retainer: R40,000 - R64,000 per month
Location: Remote (working for a UK company)
Contract Duration: 6-months (to go perm after)
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
1. Strategy & Growth
- Develop and own the end-to-end marketing strategy aligned to business growth objectives
- Build and execute integrated campaigns across digital, content, and partnerships
- Identify growth opportunities and continuously test, learn, and optimise
2. Content & Brand
- Create high-quality content across blogs, website, email, and thought leadership
- Own and evolve the brand voice, making technical services engaging and accessible
- Plan and manage content calendars aligned to campaigns and business priorities
- Build relationships with PR, media, and industry stakeholders
3. Digital & Paid Media
- Manage and optimise LinkedIn (organic and paid) as a core growth channel
- Plan, launch, and optimise Google Ads campaigns
- Own email marketing campaigns and CRM engagement (HubSpot)
- Monitor and improve SEO and website performance
4. Events, Webinars & Industry Presence
- Plan and deliver webinars and online events
- Manage trade shows and industry exhibitions
- Build partnerships and increase brand visibility within key sectors
- Secure speaking opportunities and thought leadership placements
5. Performance & Reporting
- Track, analyse, and report on marketing performance and ROI
- Provide data-driven insights to inform strategy and decision-making
- Manage budgets and ensure efficient allocation of spend
- Continuously optimise campaigns based on performance data
Technical Requirements & Qualifications:
- 5–7+ years’ experience in marketing (manager level or above)
- Proven experience owning both strategy and execution
- Experience in B2B services (construction, property, facilities, or similar preferred)
- Strong track record in lead generation and performance marketing
- Experience working in a scaling or high-growth environment advantageous
- HubSpot (or similar CRM & marketing automation tools)
- Google Ads

- SEO tools (e.g. SEMrush, Ahrefs or similar)
- Email marketing platforms
