Traffic/Account Manager (Contract)

The Digital Account Manager oversees end-to-end execution of campaigns running on a couple of our websites. This includes client communication, campaign coordination, briefing internal teams, inventory scheduling, approvals, QA, and reporting. The role ensures seamless campaign delivery, effective performance, and excellent client experience across our digital publications. Ideal for someone highly organised, proactive, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, multi-stakeholder digital environment.

About this position

Retainer: R36,000 - R48,000 per month

Working Environment: Remote

Contract Duration: 6-months (with a 3-month probationary period; after this to be extended as a rolling contract)

Main Responsibilities:

  • Campaign Coordination & DeliveryClient Communication & Relationship Management
    • Receive campaign bookings and client collateral from the sales team.
    • Collect all required campaign assets (press releases, images, links, tracking).
    • Brief editorial, social, and design teams with clear requirements & deadlines.
    • Manage campaign timelines and ensure all inventory goes live as scheduled.
    • Conduct internal QA checks across content, links, tracking, and deliverables.
    • Act as the main point of contact after campaign booking.
    • Manage approvals, client feedback cycles, and campaign queries.
    • Maintain smooth communication across internal stakeholders and clients.
    Reporting & Performance Management
    • Track campaign performance and compile post-campaign reports.
    • Share insights, results, and recommendations clearly and professionally.
    • Support continuous feedback loops with clients and internal teams.
    Operational & CRM
    • Log activities and client communication in HubSpot.
    • Maintain accurate timelines, tasks, and engagement records.
    • Support workflow optimisation, process improvements, and internal coordination.

Requirements & Experience:

  • 3–5+ years in Digital Account Management, Campaign Management, or Client Services.
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing: content, social media, paid media, email, web.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects in fast-paced environments.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Highly organised, detail-oriented, and strong follow-through.
  • Ability to work autonomously in a remote-first culture.
  • Experience with HubSpot or similar CRMs.
  • Experience with project management tools (ClickUp, Asana, Trello, etc.).
  • Familiarity with CMS / publishing tools (advantage).
