Traffic Coordinator (Contract)

Our client is seeking 2 x highly organised, solutions-driven Junior/Mid Traffic Coordinator to join their dynamic Brand & Marketing team. As one of South Africa’s most innovative banks, our client is focused on delivering client-centric campaigns across multiple channels. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the flow of creative and marketing work between teams, ensuring that projects are briefed clearly, prioritised effectively, and delivered on time. You will be the operational heartbeat of the marketing production process, liaising between marketing, creative, digital, compliance, and other teams to ensure streamlined project execution. This role is ideal for someone with strong marketing production knowledge, excellent attention to detail, and experience managing high volumes of work in a deadline-driven environment.

About this position

Retainer: R24 320 per month

Working Type: Hybrid (2 days in-office)

Working Location: Stellenbosch, CPT

Contract Duration: ASAP - 3 months (potential of extension)

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the end-to-end workflow of marketing and creative projects, from brief to delivery.
  • Traffic and allocate work to internal teams and external partners where necessary.
  • Track deadlines, manage schedules, and proactively flag delays or challenges.
  • Ensure clear briefs are received from stakeholders and provide feedback where necessary to enable efficient delivery.
  • Serve as the key point of contact between creative, marketing, compliance, legal, and external agencies.
  • Continuously improve traffic and workflow processes to maximise team productivity.
  • Ensure brand guidelines and compliance requirements are adhered to across all creative deliverables.
  • Regularly report on project progress to team leads and senior stakeholders.

Qualifications:

  • 2-3 years experience in traffic coordination, creative operations, or marketing project management, preferably within large corporate or agency environments.
  • Strong experience working with integrated marketing campaigns (digital, print, video, social, OOH, etc.).
  • Experience managing workflows in financial services, highly regulated industries, or complex environments preferred.
  • Proven ability to work with senior stakeholders, creative teams, and external vendors.
  • Diploma or Degree in Marketing, Communications, Advertising, or a related field (preferred).
  • Strong working knowledge of project management software (e.g., Asana, Monday.com, Jira, or equivalent)
  • Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel and PowerPoint)
  • Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite a bonus
  • Exposure to Figma beneficial (as the Capitec digital ecosystem is built in Figma)
