Creative Designer (FTC)
Our client is seeking a highly creative and strategically minded Creative Designer to become the brand's go-to creative partner across digital design, social content, copywriting, branding, and broader marketing initiatives. This is not a traditional execution-only design role. While a significant portion of the role will focus on creating high-performing digital and paid media assets, we are looking for someone who can also contribute to campaign ideation, social media strategy, content development, messaging, and overall brand direction. The successful candidate will play a key role in shaping the voice, look, and feel of the brand across both paid and organic channels. They will bring strong creative instincts, platform-native content understanding, strategic thinking, and the ability to translate business objectives into compelling visual and written communications. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys operating across the full creative spectrum—from designing performance-driven advertising assets to developing engaging social campaigns, writing impactful copy, contributing to brand strategy, and supporting digital product experiences.
About this position
Main Responsibilities:
Paid Media & Digital Design
- Design high-converting paid media creatives for Meta, Google, TikTok, and other digital channels.
- Create static, animated, and A/B testing campaign assets.
- Develop email marketing templates, digital banners, and promotional creative.
- Produce landing page graphics and conversion-focused visual assets.
- Collaborate with the marketing team on campaign concepts and creative performance improvements.
- Ensure all digital creative aligns with Admyt's evolving brand identity and tone of voice.
Organic Content & Social Media Creative
- Conceptualise and create engaging organic content for Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, and other social platforms.
- Develop culturally relevant, platform-native content ideas that resonate with target audiences.
- Create content calendars, post concepts, captions, and campaign messaging.
- Contribute to short-form video concepts, trend-based content, and creative storytelling initiatives.
- Help evolve Admyt's social media presence into a distinctive and recognisable brand voice.
- Stay informed on emerging social media trends, platform updates, and content formats.
Copywriting & Creative Direction
- Take ownership of marketing copy across social media, campaigns, presentations, and brand communications.
- Write concise, engaging, and on-brand copy for paid advertisements, email campaigns, captions, and promotional materials.
- Provide strategic creative input for campaigns, product launches, and brand initiatives.
- Contribute ideas that strengthen customer engagement, brand positioning, and campaign effectiveness.
- Assist in shaping the overall creative direction, messaging, and tone of the Admyt brand.
- Translate business objectives into compelling creative concepts and messaging frameworks.
Brand, Print & Environmental Design
- Design in-mall and parking signage, including wayfinding, instructional, and promotional assets.
- Produce large-format print collateral such as boom gate wraps, pillar branding, decals, and venue branding materials.
- Create launch kits and supporting creative collateral for new venue rollouts across South Africa.
- Develop presentations, pitch decks, partner-facing collateral, and internal communication materials.
- Ensure consistency and quality across all customer-facing brand touchpoints.
Product & Digital Brand Support
- Support UI/UX design initiatives for the Admyt application, including onboarding flows, screens, and modal designs.
- Design responsive website and microsite assets.
- Maintain design systems and component libraries within Figma.
- Prototype user journeys and digital product enhancements where required.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure cohesive brand experiences across digital products.
Technical Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of professional experience in graphic design, creative content production, branding, or creative direction.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating expertise across digital design, social media content, branding, and campaign development.
- Proven ability to create creative assets that perform across both paid and organic marketing channels.
- Experience creating content for modern social platforms including TikTok, Instagram, and LinkedIn.
- Strong copywriting and conceptual thinking skills.
- Ability to contribute strategically beyond execution and provide creative input into broader marketing initiatives.
- Experience working across both digital and print environments.
- Exposure to UI/UX design principles and digital product design is advantageous.
