The successful candidate will play a critical role in analysing financial and commercial information and supporting strategic decision-making processes.

Key Duties & Responisbilities:

Budgeting and forecasting: Develop and manage annual budgets and rolling forecasts for revenue, expenses,
and cash flow.
Financial Analysis: Conduct in-depth analysis of financial and operational information to identify trends, assess
performance and evaluate profitability.
Strategic Support: Support the leadership team to make informed decisions on investments, new projects and
overall business strategy.
Financial modelling: Build and maintain financial models to support scenario planning and a wide range of ad-
hoc analyses.
Reporting and Visualisation: Assist the Finance team with dashboards and monthly reporting packs.
Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams (e.g., Finance, Marketing & Credit) to gather data and
align on business goals.
Management Accounts: Processing of monthly financial transactions and preparation of monthly management
accounts.

Technical Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in finance.
2 years of experience in a financial budgeting and forecasting role.
Proficiency in Excel (advanced level), including financial functions, VBA and pivot tables.
Working in the lending industry would be advantageous but not critical
