Our client is seeking two Research & Insights Analysts to join its growing Insights team. These positions are ideal for digitally savvy, culturally curious individuals who are passionate about understanding online communities, identifying emerging trends, and transforming social data into actionable strategic insights. The successful candidates will support local and international clients by leveraging social listening, digital research, audience intelligence, and cultural analysis to uncover meaningful opportunities for brands. This role sits at the intersection of data, strategy, culture, and creativity, helping inform campaign development, content strategies, and business decisions through social intelligence. This is not a pure data analytics role. Instead, the focus is on understanding consumer behaviour, online conversations, communities, and cultural trends to generate strategic recommendations that influence creative and marketing direction.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

Social Listening & Intelligence
  • Conduct ongoing social listening analysis across multiple brands and industries.
  • Build, refine, and maintain social listening queries to ensure accurate data collection and meaningful outputs.
  • Monitor online conversations, audience behaviour, cultural shifts, and emerging trends.
  • Identify opportunities, risks, and insights from social conversations and digital communities.
Research & Insights
  • Analyse social, search, audience, and digital data to uncover actionable insights.
  • Translate social data into strategic recommendations for planners, strategists, creatives, and clients.
  • Conduct audience, competitor, and trend analysis across multiple markets.
  • Support strategic planning through data-backed consumer understanding.
Reporting & Presentation
  • Develop insightful reports, audits, and presentations for local and international clients.
  • Present findings and recommendations to internal teams and client stakeholders.
  • Visualise complex information in a clear, engaging, and commercially relevant manner.
  • Ensure reporting moves beyond observations and provides meaningful recommendations.
Collaboration
  • Partner closely with Strategists, Community Managers, Creative Teams, and Account Teams.
  • Collaborate across the broader our network on global and regional projects.
  • Support the development of new insights products, methodologies, and research approaches.

Requirements & Qualifications: 

  • 2–6 years' experience within social media, digital insights, social intelligence, cultural insights, digital strategy, research, or related fields.
  • Previous agency experience is highly preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience working with social listening tools and generating actionable insights.
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms, internet culture, online communities, and digital behaviour.
  • Experience presenting insights and recommendations to stakeholders.
  • Relevant qualification in Marketing, Communications, Media Studies, Research, Business, Psychology, Digital Marketing, or a related field is advantageous.
  • Proficiency in at least one social listening platform, such as:
    • Synthesio
    • Brandwatch
    • Meltwater
    • Sprinklr
  • Experience with:

    • Audience Analysis
    • Trend Identification
    • Competitive Analysis
    • Insight Generation
    • Social Media Reporting
