The Social Media & Content Lead will be responsible for building our brand presence in South Africa from the ground up. This is a foundational role focused on creating high-quality, engaging, and culturally relevant content to drive awareness, app downloads, and community engagement ahead of launch.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:
- Capture, create, and edit high-quality content (mobile-first, mixed media)
- Manage and grow Instagram and TikTok presence
- Execute on UK-led strategy while localising for Cape Town culture
- Conceptualise and launch creative social campaigns and activations
- Collaborate with influencers and local creators
- Be comfortable on camera (voiceovers, appearances, storytelling)
- Drive organic growth and engagement (no paid media focus locally)
- Analyse performance and optimise content strategy
Technical Requirements:
- 5-8 years experience in social media, content, or digital marketing
- Experience in startups, hospitality, lifestyle, or consumer apps preferred
- Proven track record growing social channels organically
- Strong mobile content creation (iPhone/video editing apps)
- Social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok), basic editing tools (CapCut, Adobe Suite or similar)
