Assistant Manager - Marketing Automation

Our client is seeking an Assistant Manager – Marketing Automation to support their digital and business development teams through the execution and optimisation of automated marketing campaigns. This role is centred around Pardot (Marketing Cloud Account Engagement) and Salesforce, with a strong focus on lead nurturing, campaign enablement, and marketing automation best practice within a B2B environment.

Budget: up to R58,000 per month

Location: Century City, Cape Town

Working Environment: Hybrid (3-days in office)

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Build, execute and optimise automated campaigns, journeys and workflows in Pardot.
  • Develop and manage email campaigns, landing pages and forms aligned to business development initiatives.
  • Implement and optimise lead scoring, segmentation and nurturing programmes.
  • Work closely with Salesforce teams to ensure seamless CRM integration and data flow.
  • Track, analyse and report on campaign performance, providing actionable insights.
  • Support internal stakeholders with platform guidance, best practice and troubleshooting.

Technical Requirements & Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in a marketing automation or digital marketing role.
  • Strong exposure to B2B marketing environments.
  • Salesforce Account Engagement (Pardot) Specialist or Consultant certification.
  • Hands-on Pardot / Marketing Cloud Account Engagement experience.
  • Salesforce CRM integration experience.
  • Marketing automation platforms (Pardot essential).
  • Salesforce campaign setup and reporting.
  • Lead lifecycle management and CRM data practices.
