Junior e-Commerce Specilaist

The Amazon Marketplace Executive will be responsible for managing and optimising a portfolio of our products across Amazon US and UK. This role focuses on SEO-driven listing optimisation, performance marketing, pricing strategy, and data-led experimentation to maximise sales, profitability, and visibility. The position is highly commercial and performance-driven, offering a strong opportunity to develop deep expertise in Amazon e-commerce and marketplace growth.

Budget: up to R36,000 per month

Location: Remote, SA (working for a UK company)

Benefits:

  1. 20 days plus bank Holidays paid holiday 
  2. Bonus of between 0 and 20% depending on performance of the business across Revenue and Profit. 

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Manage and optimise product listings across Amazon US and UK marketplaces
  • Implement SEO strategies and write high-converting product copy
  • Optimise listings using images, videos, and enhanced content to maximise conversion
  • Drive revenue growth by improving visibility, pricing strategy, and advertising performance
  • Own and deliver against revenue, TACoS, and margin targets
  • Identify top-performing creators within TikTok and adjacent categories
  • Analyse marketplace performance data to inform commercial decisions
  • Design and run structured tests to improve best practices and performance
  • Identify trends and opportunities to increase sales and efficiency
  • Present insights and recommendations clearly to stakeholders
  • Continuously refine processes to improve operational accuracy and scalability
  • Manage pricing and promotional strategies to optimise profitability
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to execute marketplace initiatives
  • Apply strong commercial judgement to product and marketing decisions
  • Implement efficient workflows and systems to support growth
  • Maintain high standards of execution in a fast-paced environment

Technical Requirements & Responsibilities:

  • 1–2 years’ experience in Amazon, digital marketing, or e-commerce (preferred but not essential)
  • Degree in Marketing, Business, Finance, or a related field (preferred but not essential)
  • Strong commercial understanding of core business fundamentals (e.g., marketing mix, margins)
  • Amazon Seller/Vendor Central
  • Excel (strong working proficiency)
  • Data analysis and reporting tools
  • E-commerce performance platforms and analytics tools
