Mid-level Brand Designer

Budget: R28 000 - R35 000

Location: Pretoria, JHB

Start Date: ASAP

Working Environment: Hybrid (Monday & Friday in-office)

Core Working Hours: 9am - 2:30pm

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

• Assist in the creation of brand identities and visual systems, from concept to delivery.
• Work alongside senior designers and strategists to translate brand strategy into impactful, consistent design.
• Apply brand systems across digital platforms (websites, social media, campaigns) and print collateral (presentations, packaging, marketing materials).
• Deliver high-quality creative outputs for campaigns, sales collateral, and activations.
• Collaborate with copywriters, account managers, and project leads to ensure creative alignment and strategic accuracy.
• Contribute ideas and creative thinking during brainstorming and concepting sessions.
• Present design work internally with clear rationale and openness to feedback.
• Maintain consistency and uphold brand standards across all deliverables.
• Stay current with global design, fintech, and digital branding trends to keep work relevant and competitive.

Technical Requirements:

• 5 years of experience as a Brand Designer / Graphic Designer.
• Relevant tertiary qualification in Design, Visual Communication, or a related field.
• Experience in brand identity creation and rollout across multiple touchpoints.
• Experience within fintech, financial services, or complex B2B categories is advantageous.
• Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign)
• Figma (essential for digital design and prototyping)
• WordPress (basic understanding beneficial)
• Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Word, Excel)
• Motion graphics or 3D knowledge is a plus
