The Junior Multimedia/DTP Designer is responsible for supporting the creation of digital and print design collateral for Super Group’s brands. Working under the guidance of senior team members, this role focuses on producing accurate, high-quality work, maintaining brand consistency, and contributing to innovative and impactful creative outputs while learning and developing within the team.

Working Location: Melrose Arch, Johannesburg

Main Responsibilities:

  • CollaborationContent Creation
    • Work with designers, leads, and stakeholders to understand objectives.
    • Attend brainstorms, daily stand-ups, and follow lead directions.
    • Partner with in-country copywriters for translations.
    • Write diverse content across channels, ensuring CI compliance and brand tone.
    • Work with Traffic team to manage deadlines.
    • Collaborate with Copy Lead for radio and VO recordings.
    Project Management
    • Manage timelines effectively and adapt to urgent business needs.
    Quality Control
    • Proofread campaigns for spelling, grammar, and accuracy.
    • Check links, naming conventions, and final outputs for consistency.
    Innovation
    • Stay updated on trends, tools, and techniques.
    • Share knowledge and develop proactive ideas beyond the brief.
    Mentorship
    • Guide and support Junior Copywriters.
    • Contribute to a positive and collaborative team culture.
    Product Understanding
    • Develop understanding of products and customer needs across regions.
    • Share best practices and insights.
    Ownership
    • Take responsibility for delivering accurate, high-quality, and engaging work.

Technical Requirements & Experience:

  • Diploma/Degree in Copywriting, Journalism, or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years’ copywriting experience.
  • Microsoft Office.
  • Strong written English skills
