Senior Multimedia DTP Designer

Budget: R40,000 - R49,000 per month

Working Location: Melrose Arch, Johannesburg

Main Responsibilities:

• Graphic Design – Digital and PrintConceptualisation and Ideation
  • Create and establish designs, visual approaches, and layouts across digital and print.
  • Prepare print-ready artwork, with solid knowledge of substrates and print processes.
  • Ensure work is accurate, crafted, media-specific, and compliant with CI and brand tone.
  • Deliver projects on deadline while maintaining exceptional quality.
  • Develop fresh and proactive creative work beyond the brief.
  • Conceptualise and roll out through-the-line campaigns.
  • Develop original and innovative ideas aligned to business goals.
  • Assist management by bringing campaigns to life through design, art direction, and layout.
  • Consider context and platform-specific requirements for all outputs.
  Collaboration and Communication
  • Provide coaching, technical guidance, and inspiration to Junior and Mid-level Designers.
  • Act as a role model, demonstrating responsibility, honesty, and respect.
  • Work closely with Copywriters and cross-functional teams across Africa.
  • Share best practices, knowledge, and industry innovations with the wider team.
  • Actively participate in daily stand-ups, providing clear and effective communication.

Technical Requirements & Experience:

• Diploma/Degree in Graphic Design or Design Communication (minimum 3 years).
• 5–6+ years’ design experience, with at least 2 years in a senior role.
• Advanced Adobe Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
• Microsoft PowerPoint and Office Suite.
• Advantageous: After Effects, Dreamweaver, UI design knowledge, full Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
