Midweight Designer

CTC: R30 000 - R35 000

Working Type: In-office

Working Location: Melrose Arch, Johannesburg

Hours: 40 hours weekly (08:30 - 17:00)

Main Responsibilities:

• Create designs, concepts and layouts in line with layout principles and our brand standards.
• Prepare artwork for digital and print campaigns, including assembly and markup for printing.
• Collaborate on campaign development, brainstorming sessions and creative execution.
• Liaise with printers and external vendors for accurate production.
• Maintain and update communications platforms such as websites and social channels.
• Provide creative support for internal and external branding and events.
• Build and maintain strong working relationships across teams.
• Stay up to date on design trends, digital innovations and best practices.
• Participate in daily updates and communications planning.

Qualifications:

• 3 year Diploma or Degree in Graphic Design or Advertising 
• 5 years + experience in a Design and Multimedia 
• Proficient in Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, After Effects and Dreamweaver
• Digital and coding experience required 
• Adaptable and a quick learner. Must be able to apply style guides creatively.
• Expert knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite. Familiar with HTML and motion graphics.
• Consistent high standard and quality of work with high attention to detail 
• Good time management and problem solving skills 
• High level of organisational skills and ability to prioritize 
• Ability to handle multiple projects at a time and meet multiple deadlines in a fast-paced  environment 
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills 
• Ability to be proactive and come up with ideas beyond the brief 
• Team player 
• Interest in sport essential
