Traffic Coordinator (Contract)

We are looking for a highly organised and proactive Traffic Coordinator to join the marketing team behind one of the world’s leading sports betting brands. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the flow of work between teams, ensuring that marketing projects are prioritised and delivered on time. You will be the key link between creative teams, stakeholders, and project leads - ensuring seamless communication, efficient task allocation, and delivery of work that meets brand standards.

About this position

Retainer: R30,000 - R35,000 per month

Working Type: Full-time in office

Working Location: Melrose Arch, Johannesburg

Contract Duration: 3-months

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Manage the scheduling, allocation, and progress tracking of creative and marketing projects across multiple departments.
  • Act as the primary point of contact between marketing, creative, and digital teams to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Maintain project timelines, update stakeholders on progress, and adjust schedules where necessary.
  • Ensure all creative output is aligned to the brand guidelines and compliance standards.
  • Troubleshoot bottlenecks, facilitate solutions, and escalate issues where required.
  • Monitor and report on productivity, delivery status, and overall project efficiency.

Qualifications:

  • Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field (preferred).
  • 2+ years experience in traffic coordination, project management, or a related operational role - preferably in the sports, gaming, or entertainment industries.
  • Strong organisational and multitasking skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Project management tools (e.g., Trello, Asana, Monday.com, Jira)
  • Microsoft Office Suite
  • Adobe Suite exposure beneficial
