Performance Marketing Specialist

The Performance Marketing Specialist will be responsible for driving lead generation, customer acquisition, and business growth through data-driven digital campaigns. This role focuses on planning, executing, and optimising paid media across platforms such as Google Ads, Meta, and emerging digital channels. The successful candidate will combine analytical thinking with creative campaign execution, working closely with design, product, and BI teams to maximise ROI and ensure all campaigns align with our strategic objectives.

Budget: up to R55,000 per month (excluding Group Life Cover)

Working Environment: Hybrid, 2 days a week in-office

Key Responsibilities:

Campaign Planning, Execution & Optimisation

  • Plan, set up, manage, and optimise paid digital campaigns across Google Ads, Meta, and other relevant platforms
  • Align campaigns to business objectives including lead generation, customer acquisition, engagement, and conversion
  • Conduct ongoing A/B testing on ads, audiences, and landing pages to improve performance
  • Optimise budgets, targeting, and creative based on performance data and insights

Performance Analysis & Reporting

  • Monitor key performance metrics such as CTR, CPA, conversion rates, and ROAS
  • Produce regular performance reports and dashboards for internal teams and senior stakeholders
  • Translate data insights into clear, actionable recommendations to improve future campaign performance

Creative & Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Brief and collaborate with designers to produce platform-specific creatives and messaging
  • Provide input on copy, audience segmentation, and offer positioning
  • Ensure all creative aligns with our brand voice and campaign objectives

Innovation & Continuous Improvement

  • Stay up to date with platform updates, algorithm changes, and paid media trends
  • Test new formats, channels, tools, and campaign ideas
  • Contribute learnings and best practices to the wider marketing team

Technical Requirements & Qualifications:

  • 5+ years’ experience in digital or performance marketing (Essential)
  • Google Ads
  • Meta (Facebook & Instagram) Ads Manager
  • Google Analytics and performance reporting tools
  • Paid media and social media management platforms
  • Adobe Suite, Figma
  • WordPress
  • MS Office / Google Workspace
