We are seeking a Marketing Lead to drive performance marketing strategy and shape product development for its AI-first Customer Data Platform, built for the insurance sector. This hybrid role blends hands-on marketing execution with technical insight, directly influencing both the product roadmap and go-to-market strategy.

About this position

Budget: $2,500 - $4,583,33 USD per month

Location: Remote (working for a US agency)

Working Hours: Flexible with core hours of 1pm-6pm or 2pm-7pm SA time

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

Performance Marketing Strategy + Product SME (75%)

  • Act as a subject matter expert to inform product development and testing
  • Focus on D2C marketing features such as segmentation, attribution, lead scoring, and campaign optimization
  • Partner with clients to optimize digital campaigns using the Fount platform
  • Represent the voice of the modern D2C marketer internally

Brand & Sales Enablement (25%)

  • Define and communicate the Fount brand story
  • Create marketing and sales materials including decks, one-pagers, explainer videos, and web copy
  • Support go-to-market activation

Requirements & Qualifications:

  • 5–10 years in performance marketing, growth strategy, or digital media (preferably D2C or consumer-focused)
  • Bachelor's in Marketing, Business, or STEM (Master’s a plus)
  • Startup experience and comfort wearing multiple hats
  • Familiarity with marketing platforms (CDPs, CRMs, attribution tools, analytics)
  • Proficiency across digital channels (paid social, search, email/SMS, programmatic)
  • Nice to have: knowledge of HTML, CSS, Python, AI marketing tools, media mix modeling
  • Strong communication and storytelling abilities
  • Strategic thinking with tactical execution
  • High collaboration with product and engineering
  • Driven, curious, and adaptable
