Sales & Development Representative

This role offers the chance to transition into Tech Sales for one of our FinTech/SaaS clients. You’ll use your early customer-facing or sales experience to grow into a tech sales expert, generating pipeline and contributing to new customer acquisition for high-growth FinTech clients across the UK and Europe. Working alongside global leadership teams, you’ll engage directly with C-level executives while developing your career through our elite Go-to-Market Academy training program.

About this position

Budget: Market Related

Location: Claremont, Cape Town

Budget/Salary Range: R20,000 – R30,000 basic

Commission: ±R12,000 monthly (growing to ±R17,000 after 6 months if on target, total earning potential ~R40k)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop a strong understanding of the FinTech & SaaS market across EMEA.
  • Conduct research and prospecting to identify potential customers.
  • Identify and reach the right decision-makers.
  • Engage prospects via phone, email, and LinkedIn to secure meetings and demos.
  • Schedule and join initial prospect meetings.
  • Continuously refine your sales approach and knowledge of enterprise SaaS.
  • Collaborate with SDR managers and clients to shape Go-to-Market strategies.

Requirements:

  • University degree (any discipline, ideally business, marketing, or related).
  • 1–2 years of work experience in a customer-facing role (e.g. recruitment, travel, financial advising, entry-level sales).
  • Strong interest in sales, SaaS, and FinTech.
  • High energy, curiosity, enthusiasm, and resilience.
  • Excellent written and spoken English (able to engage C-level executives).
  • Based in Cape Town (or willing to relocate).
  • CRM tools (Salesforce/Hubspot)
  • LinkedIn Sales Navigator
  • Sales engagement platforms (SalesLoft/Outreach)
  • MS Suite
