Senior Designer - Roll Out (Contract)
We are looking for a Senior Multimedia/DTP Designer with a strong focus on executing and rolling out creative assets across digital and print platforms in multiple African markets. This role is execution-heavy, requiring attention to detail, consistency, and speed in producing high volumes of high-quality, on-brand materials. You’ll work closely with internal teams to support the efficient implementation of departmental campaigns and ensure accurate, CI-compliant delivery of creative assets.

Retainer: R32 000 - R44 000 (depending on skills and experience)

Hours: 40 hours weekly (08:00 - 17:00)
Main Responsibilities:
- Design Roll-Out – Digital and Print
- Roll out existing creative concepts into multiple formats and sizes for various digital and print applications.
- Ensure all assets meet brand CI guidelines and are tailored to media-specific requirements (e.g., social media, websites, emailers, billboards, brochures, in-store POS).
- Adapt and localise creative materials for different regions and markets.
- Prepare and package files accurately for various print specifications and production requirements.
- Maintain consistency across all deliverables and ensure alignment with the master creative direction.
- Work efficiently with structured file management and naming conventions.
- Troubleshoot and resolve artwork and file-related issues during the production process.
- Conduct final checks to ensure technical accuracy and print-readiness.
- Ensure all deliverables are produced to the highest standard within tight deadlines.
- Work collaboratively with creative leads, copywriters, and account/project managers to ensure smooth asset delivery.
- Liaise with external production partners when needed, ensuring files are correctly set up and deadlines are met.
- Participate in stand-ups and workflow planning to prioritise delivery and meet evolving business needs.
- Mentor junior team members on technical best practices and roll-out processes.
Technical Requirements & Experience:
- 5+ years in a design or DTP studio environment with a strong roll-out portfolio.
- Expert proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign); familiarity with Figma and/or Microsoft templates is a plus.
- Solid understanding of print production and digital specifications across platforms.
- Excellent file setup, version control, and asset packaging skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects at once while maintaining high attention to detail.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Expert-level in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign
- Proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint and Office Suite
- Ability to manage multiple projects and provide guidance without micromanaging
- Understanding of print production processes
- Familiarity with current design trends and their practical application
- Diligent file setup, management, and sharing practices
