DTP Social Media Designer (Contract)
Our client is a global, multicultural company that’s all about entertainment. We’ve evolved into a focused, dynamic community that thrives on all things sporty, providing services to an internationally renowned sports-betting brand with a strong Premier League and top-tier global league presence. Our expertise lies in marketing, customer service, and technology – delivering our products digitally (online and mobile) and marketing through-the-line (TV, print, outdoors, digital etc). We’re looking for sports enthusiasts who are especially fanatical about soccer. If that’s you, we’d love to meet. As a DTP Designer, you will join their Social Media team to execute high-quality creative outputs across campaigns and promotions.
About this position
Working Type: In-office
Working Location: Melrose Arch, Johannesburg
Hours: 40 hours weekly (08:30 - 17:00)
Retainer: R28 000 - R30 400
Contract Duration: 3 months (to go permanent afterwards)
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
- Creative design editing for promotions and campaigns
- Work to a design brief from concept to execution
- Use specialist design software to prepare and produce layouts
- Produce final layouts including specifications for typefaces, colours, images, and country-specific layouts
- Report on job status and updates
- Ensure quality output in all production
Requirements, Qualifications & Skills:
- Relevant design/DTP qualification
- 2+ years of experience in DTP or related field
- Adobe Suite: Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop
- AfterEffects (advantageous)
- Strong knowledge of typography, fonts, and layout design
- Basic understanding of print production processes (advantageous)
