Google Ads Specialist (Freelance)

Key Responsibilities

• Review the Google Ads suspension notice, account history and any previous appeals.
• Conduct a detailed audit of the Google Ads account, including ads, campaigns and account settings.
• Review the website and landing pages to identify potential phishing, security, redirect, form or policy-related issues.
• Identify the likely triggers contributing to the suspension.
• Implement account-related corrections where permitted.
• Work alongside FG-Nexus’s web team where website or technical changes are required.
• Prepare a clear, evidence-based appeal to Google Ads.
• Manage follow-ups with Google Ads support throughout the reinstatement process.
• Provide regular progress updates and clearly communicate any recommended actions.
• Provide recommendations to help prevent similar issues from occurring in future.

Required Experience

• Proven experience working with Google Ads account suspensions and reinstatements.
• Specific experience resolving phishing or similar Google Ads policy suspensions is essential.
• Strong understanding of Google Ads policies, enforcement processes and appeals.
• Experience auditing websites and landing pages for potential policy or security issues.
• Understanding of redirects, forms, website security and advertiser identity considerations.
• Strong troubleshooting and investigative skills.
• Ability to communicate technical findings and recommended actions clearly to both marketing and web/technical teams.
